I want to thank my good brotha @blackmencamp (GM of @zogsportsatl) for thinking enough of me to invite me out to an amazing event this this morning. Surrounding myself with good, like- minded individuals that are hungry for growth is something that I deem very essential and necessary for my success in 2018 (also something for everyone to think about ). The mission that @unitedwayatlanta is undertaking (see pic #3)is one that I think a lot of people should take note of because it’s an extremely important issue that needs to be at the forefront of our collective society, and I’m pledging to start doing my part given the fact that I’ve been blessed with ample opportunities in my life, and I realize that some of these youth will only be able to have such opportunities if people and organizations like @unitedwayatlanta decide to assist in providing the necessary foundation for them to succeed. Happy Friday to you all! (P.S. @realgranthill is the most genuine guy I’ve ever met in my life)

Life can be cruel. Never look down on others because of their circumstances in their journey. We are all the same and should learn how to love each other. Be compassionate to those who need it most. Know one thing, you share your love with the world and that love will always find you back.
Do you have one hour a week to make a difference in a child's life? Volunteer as a literacy tutor with Reading Partners Sacramento!
Their program collaborates with local elementary schools to train community volunteers to provide one-on-one support and mentoring for elementary student readers. Tutors are paired to work with the same student for at least one semester, for one weekly 45-minute tutoring session. No previous experience is necessary! Reading Partners currently works with 8 schools in Sacramento, and seeks volunteers to tutor Monday through Thursday, between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (hours may vary slightly from center to center). You must be at least 14-years-old.

Had a blast surprising my favorite 1st grade class today. For those of you who have asked me to share volunteer opportunities, next week is Read Across America week (Feb 26-March 2). If you can fit it into your schedule you should go read to the young students who are the future of our country. DM if you would like school recommendations. I speak from experience when I say something as little as a visit to a classroom has a positive impact on many of the students and you will have just as much fun as they have! #readacrossamerica#futureleaders#volunteer#giveback#education#readacrossamericaweek
