+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Daily people share hundreds of pictures of their families, friends and themselves on Social Media. But in all these pictures they present themselves as cool, as sexy and as hip as they can.
Point a camera at somebody and most will start posing and behaving different.
I enjoyed those pictures. But after some time they seemed fake to me. It felt like people started creating some kind of “digital avatar”.
So I built this box where people sit right behind it and put their hands through 2 holes at the side. I place an object in the middle of the box and then they have to gues what kind of object it is just by using their sense of touch.
They are not used to this kind of situation. They are so concentrated and overwhelmed from their feelings that their emotions reflect directly on their faces. They are not able to present the person from ther “digital avatar“.
In this moment when they sit behind the box they show me their real ego, their real face.
Yesterday I was so lucky when I accidentally stumbled upon these two good luck trolls! I was thinking about toys I used to love as a kid and suddenly I found these two trolls on sale and they were the last two! As a part of my journey in life, I am embracing my inner child 'cause sometimes I have a tendency to take life too seriously, so I am working on letting that go. I am using my child as much as I can in my creativity, and when I found these trolls, a world of magic opened it's door for me again: the enchanted world I created as a child. I was so excited about these toys I used to love so much, that I instantly created a whole life for them (yes, I have always been known for my vivid imagination )! So... meet Pixie and Polly! Two lively little good luck trolls full of love, kindness and mischief You will get to see alot of them in the future. I hope you will enjoy following them on their adventures
Reflecting on the process of aging. Loss of volume, bone resorption and remodeling, textural changes and finally colour changes. We are so blessed to have the knowhow, insight and the tools to soften those processes.
