Here's a simplified explanation of how insulin works for fat loss.

Essentially, insulin acts as the "signal" to store the incoming energy.

Think of it as boxes arriving at a warehouse to be stored, with the boxes representing the incoming and outgoing energy, and with the workers representing insulin.

Even with more workers present, the stock in the warehouse won't increase, if the incoming boxes are fewer or equal in number to the boxes leaving the warehouse.

Similarly, if you are ingesting fewer calories than those you are expending, then any amount of insulin won't be able to increase the body's fat stores, since, simply put, there's no energy to store in the first place.

Video cut out halfway through my first rep ๐Ÿ˜ถ๐Ÿ˜ค but I managed a top set of 8 with this weight (180kg) after a gradual build up of sets of 6-8 reps. _______________________________________________________________ Deadlifts are finally feeling 100% again after about 3 weeks off due to some lingering lower back pain.
