This is the first day of Harlyn’s swim class vs the last day. There are 12 weeks between these two photos and although I do see the physical changes, the biggest change has been mental. If I’m being honest, I thought I’d look a lot better in the second picture because of how good & confident I feel but progress takes time.
I think most of us get caught up in the end result that we forget why we started our fitness journeys in the first place. This time around I really wanted to focus on training hard and eating better because of how it makes me feel, not how it makes me look. Motivation comes and goes but when you focus on eating right and working out because of how it makes you feel, it’s easier to keep going day in and day out.
The easiest way for me to get my veggies in, is to start with a bowl of greens and work my meal around it.
I’m obsessing over arugula rn so it’s been in every meal I eat . For dinner tonight we had chickpea pasta, turkey meatballs simmered in organic marinara & sautéed bell peppers in avocado oil and loads of garlic #eatyourveggies
