Many people have a hard time with clean eating during the holidays, but I promise you can do it. One of my favorite ways to challenge myself weekly is to see how many colorful, whole foods I can get in my fridge. It doesn’t always look like this, (and even this week we splurged on a little eggnog πŸ€ΆπŸΌπŸŽ…πŸΌ) - but it’s an easy visual you can get of your diet overall. What’s in your fridge? Challenge yourself to get 2 more greens in there next week!

My obsession with Acai Bowls began a year ago right here ☝️ with this recipe from our holistic health and nutrition program called The Healthstyle Emporium🌱

I love that the recipes are all easy and free of nasty ingredients & jam packed full of flavour😍 Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:
1 pack frozen acaiΒ 
Β½ frozen banana (any time a banana is about to go bad, I cut it into chunks and freeze it, so I always have these on hand)Β 
Heaping Β½ - ΒΎ cup fresh fruitΒ 
1/3 cup coconut milk (any nut milk works, too) + more if it’s too thickΒ 
1 tbsp apple cider vinegarΒ 
1 tbsp hemp seeds (or any seed you like)
For topping:Β 
ΒΌ cup granolaΒ 
Handful berriesΒ 
cacao nibs
coconut chips
Β½ banana, sliced

Instructions
Put all the main ingredients in a blender until smooth. If too thick, just keep adding a little coconut milk until it reaches the desired consistency.Β 
Add your toppings and Enjoy 🌹
