Stay active when you travel. Don't take a vacation from fitness. Instead of a bus tour, see the sights by walking or bicycling. If you'll be spending a lot of time in an airport, walk while you wait! Throw a jump rope or resistance band in your suitcase. And take advantage of the hotel fitness center or swimming pool. .

4 years ago... I was still in high school. As far as I'm concerned this guy is my only competition and is mocking me with his progress despite having a much easier life.lol Gotta work smart, work hard, and stay consistent.

Right now, I would consider myself only competition to my 18 and 19 year old self. By the end of the year, I hope to become something I would have aspired to back then.

This may upset some of you, but guess what, it's the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts! I'm all about living life with #balance. I believe in letting loose when necessary, taking it easy here and there and living with a plan that you can have for life. I definitely enjoy a cheat meal or even a cheat DAY sometimes. But here's the thing - those "cheat meals?" You have to EARN THEM! If you busted your ass this week, nailed it on your workouts, dominated your nutrition, and you feel like a BOSS, GO for it- have that cheat meal! But if you didn't achieve what you had planned, if you aren't happy with how the week went, if you know you "shouldn't do it," then guess what, don't! Work HARD during the week to take it easy on the weekends. It's true both in fitness and in life. Do the work to EARN the reward! If you're working towards a goal, the grind is necessary! Live with balance, but part of the balance IS THE HARD WORK! Not always fun, but necessary. 👍😎
