Oscar filmlerine devam.
Keşke bunun her yerde aynı olduğunu hepimiz idrak edebilsek. Mutlaka izleyin, bence her koşul altında istediklerinin peşinde koşmak için de acayip gaz veriyor.
June Bacon-Bercey was the only African-American woman to earn a degree in meteorology in the 1950s. She went on to become the first female television meteorologist in the country by assuming the position of weathercaster in Buffalo, New York, in 1970. Two years later she was honored as the first African American and the first woman to earn the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval for excellence in television weathercasting #hiddenfigures#blackhistorymonth
From Hustle and Flow to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button to Hidden Figures, Taraji P. Henson is as versatile as they come. It's not often that someone can master the game in Television and Film simultaneously, but this wonderful actress does it seamlessly. #tarajiphenson#actor
The Writers Guild Awards have never been a strong indicator for the Oscars, but the 69th annual event this year have awarded somewhat interesting winners for the coveted original and adapted screenplays, at least in my personal opinion. BARRY JENKINS' gay coming of age drama MOONLIGHT picked up the award for original screenplay, beating HELL OR HIGH WATER, LOVING, MANCHESTER BY THE SEA and even DAMIEN CHAZELLE's award-favorite LA LA LAND. During the acceptance speech, Jenkins said: “A lot of people back home are watching this and they see me doing these things and they get inspired. But what I want to say is, I can’t say that writing will get you from where you are to this stage, but my experience is that it will get you closer to who you are.” Being a huge fan of DENIS VILLENEUVE and his cerebral sci-fi film ARRIVAL, I'm glad that Writers Guild of America awarded the film in the adapted screenplay category for ERIC HEISSERER, whose mind-bending script was based on Nebula award-winning short story, STORY OF YOUR LIFE by TED CHIANG. Villeneuve beat out FENCES, HIDDEN FIGURES, NOCTURNAL ANIMALS and DEADPOOL in this category. Interestingly, both films will be competing again as MOONLIGHT, which is based on a play by TARELL ALVIN McCRANEY, is included by the motion picture academy in the adapted screenplay at the upcoming Oscars. #Moonlight#MoonlightFilm#BarryJenkins#DenisVilleneuve#HellOrHighWater#LaLaLand#Loving#ManchesterByTheSea#Arrival#ArrivalMovie#WritersGuildAwards #Fences#HiddenFigures#NocturnalAnimals#Deadpool#WGA#WGA2017#Movies#Films#MovieAwards#FilmAwards#Oscars#EricHeisserer#TarellAlvinMcCraney#DamienChazelle
#GPRepost,#reposter,#notetag@alonglastname via @GPRepostApp ======> @alonglastname:Started a new project similar to #creativehabit that celebrates the rich history of women kicking ass in STEM fields who have too often faded into anonymity and not gotten the recognition they deserved. I also wanted to support the amazing women in my life who are helping build the foundation of scientific discovery our society is built on by giving to an organization that supports them, the Association for Women in Science.
