Good morning Monday- time for a fresh start..lets talk about Spalina toner.
Toner- one of the basic steps in a skin routine. Most toners are water-based liquids composed of specific active ingredients including plant extracts and essential oils, tailored to address a variety of skin types. Mainly there are hydrating toners, calming and soothing toners, and astringent toners. Lipid refresh is a toner for all skin types, with an omega fatty rich treatment that flushes skin with hydration. It protects and restores skin barrier and comforts skin after washing while boosting hydration.
I'm frugal to a fault. I once saw a guest in our home throw a jar of peanut butter into the trash with a good 3 more servings left in it if scraped out with a spatula!!!! It's just soooo ingrained in me to not be wasteful!! (yes, I pulled it back out of the trash and used the rest of the PB! ) I *have* learned that there's a line in my proverbial sand, however.....the day that I discovered that THREE bugs swimming in my Raisin Bran was ONE bug too many!! #truestory I'm frugal and I'm insanely thrifty, but there are a few things in my life that I will NOT compromise on: my health & wellness and my skin care. It's the only body and canvas that I'll ever have and it's sooo important to take care of. . My earlier post led to me adding some video into my IG story about how I am frugal with the use of my high quality skin care, Reflexsyons. Check it out. I didn't know some of my friends were unaware of ways to get the last bit o goodness out of their containers. . And if you're looking for a truly fantastic skin care, tap the in my bio to check out Reflexsyons. I'm 53 years old and haven't needed to wear any foundation for over 3 years now bc this skincare line has balanced the ph of my skin and evened out my skin tones, among other great benefits. It's truly been a game-changer! #skincare#reflexsyons#reflexsyonsskincare#youthfulskin#telomeres#gamechanger

Retinoids are vitamin A derivatives that have been proven to boost collagen production, speed cell turnover, and unclog pores. There isn’t a person over the age of 25 who wouldn’t benefit from this. Rx retinoids have been known to cause redness and dry skin, so OTC Retinoids can be an excellent starting point for sensitive skin.

Five reasons to incorporate an oil into your skincare routine:
1- Oils penetrate into deeper layers of skin than creams and act as an awesome carrier to deliver active ingredients.
2- Essential fatty acids are a critical component to healthy skin cells, our body doesn't produce them but our cells need them to function, which means we have to get them elsewhere. Botanical oils rich in EFAs, vitamins, and antioxidants are a reparative and protect skin.
3- Plant oils, namely seed oils, are anti-inflammatory powerhouses.
4- Using an oil on oily skin sounds odd, but they can help balance oil production.
5- They make an excellent plumping primer before makeup application for aging, dry, and normal skin types.

I'm not writing this to be mean, snooty or anything like that. But it's so hard to recommend things, I don't know how my.skin will react to products I've used forever. And it's harder to know how YOUR skin will react. All the love.
Thought I'd show a few masks I own °
Very calming and thicker mask °
Mask Vivant- best smelling mask ever. Yes, I said it. I do like the smell of yeast. And it gives you a beautiful glow claymask ofc. Staple in my cabinet. As you may notice °
Charcoal mask, I'm not really a fan of this. And I won't repurchase it °
Smells pretty and feels pretty. But I don't see any difference °
Radience mask, you do get a glow from it. But I don't like the feeling of having anything on my face from it °
Flavanone mud mask. Love the smell, don't like the burning sensation of it. Sometimes I do see a difference sometimes I don't.
