A fun Tuesday morning throwback to my very first marathon with two of my good college friends! We may not have trained adequately and we may not have been insanely fast, but we all crossed the finish line together ♀️ not gonna lie- my first marathon was tough and at mile 18 i told myself that I would never do another one. But the race was overall so fun and crossing the finish line was this amazing, blissful feeling- so amazing that we immediately decided to sign up again for the same race the following year. It is truly AMAZING what the human body is capable of and there aren't really words to describe how incredible you feel when you cross that finish line-- it is the only thing that is slightly similar to how I felt when I found out I had been accepted to medical school- just pure, unbelievable joy If you want to do something, you can and you will achieve it with hard work and a positive attitude! Never quit at mile 18 because the feeling at mile 26 is so so worth it - never quit if you're unhappy with your first MCAT score because a year later you might be at an amazing school in an awesome city living your dreams!! .
I want to help other undergrad students, graduate students, or young professionals on their journeys to accomplishing their running goals. Running has given SO much to me and continues to surround me with an amazing community of people .
I strive to go to sleep every night feeling the same way I felt crossing that finishing line- accomplished, happy, and excited for tomorrow. We can accomplish so much in 24 hours and what we decide to do in those hours is up to us Happy Tuesday!!! .

FIT | Va a bajar .... en un martes! ¡Los atletas de GRE se volvieron jamones con todo lo que tiré allí! Y sellamos el trato con algunos sólidos estiramientos;) ¡Veamos el próximo martes!
When we realise we can endure a little suffering, when we realise that by breaking through our aversion to it we can achieve more than we believed possible, it changes our mind ... and, in turn, our body. We start to see that maybe, maybe we can go further than we thought and maybe, maybe all the other things we didn't think we could do aren't impossible. @jennamclarke and I before last year's @humptydumptyfoundation#balmoralburn - didn't think I could run the whole hill let alone get a place. Do we need to suffer to grow? I asked @chris_feather from @98rileystgym for his thoughts - link in bio ♀️
