Ah, Saturday. A day for projects, a day for catching up on all those home things that pile up throughout the week, and a day for cleaning. Very few things in this world can beat a fresh, tidy house in my book. And keep your eyes peeled - I'll be sharing my recipe for non-toxic, all-purpose cleaner on the blog very soon! Any of you gals out there like to make your own cleaners or household products? I find it has really simplified my cleaning routine and makes the house smell AMAZING, thanks to essential oils. How are you spending your #simplelivingsaturday friends?
I struggle to relax. Honestly, I have NO idea how to do it. Even when I would get epidurals, the nurse would say "Relax, honey." Uhhhhh, I thought I was.
Because I know this about myself, Barry and I have decided that in 2018 I'm going to work really hard on learning the skill of relaxing. And yes - I realize that sounds crazy.
For now, in order to relax a bit I have to leave the house. So today Barry took me out for lunch. And then to Belk so I could find jeans I like. And I did! Skinny pull ons for the win. I love elastic after French fries.
Guess what, everyone?!⠀

This is the little brother of the bowl I put up yesterday (actually it is inside it). I think it has also come out beautifully, however if you look closely you can see that it has a split on each side. This is going to give me the opportunity to try the japanese gold repair. I'm very excited sbout trying this out, and I think the gold will suit this bowl amazingly well. I'll post it when done

I hear them say all the time "but I didnt make that mess!" Oh, oh my dear. You are correct. However, it is our job to help everyone we can. To support those around us. ...
I could go on and on about this one lesson. Go help someone today. They need help folding laundry? Go help. They need they're lawn mowed? Go do it. It may be something big or it may be something small. Either way, many hands make light work. #lifelesson
