This year has been one of the most difficult years, but also one of the most joyful. I have learned to be content in all things and to choose joy, to choose, happiness, and to completely rely on God.
I am content with the diseases ravaging my body.
I am content in my isolation and going through the desert.
I am content in my singleness.
I am content with allowing God to do something in my life rather then making a career for myself.
I am content in my brokenness and being financially dry.
I am content, because I trust that God is working on something bigger then I could ever imagine for me. He's changing my heart and how I see things. Instead of running from the problems or the pain I lean in. I lean in because I know God is right there with me and teaching me. My foundation is set in Him and that's more important then everything else.
So if you're going through something, just know that God loves you more then you can imagine and He doesn't want what's good for you, He wants the best for you! And some times the best things in life Comte through pain and cost us a lot, but in the end it's more then worth it.
I promise, I am walking in that now. I have joy, peace, and so much gratitude for everything that I have and none of the miracles I need have happened yet. I see all the things that He has already blessed me with and I'm not worried about all the things I'm lacking, He's working in those.

The kids in the dump call trash their home. They have no running water, no bathrooms, homes and no store to shop at for miles. A journey to say the least when cars aren't an option. When we go to the dump the kids surround us, hungry and dirty, they look to us to help them. We do everything in our power to clean them with wipes, feed them a meal, give them water and food for their families. We always make sure to give them some goodies too. I'm sure they will always remember those who saw them. I love getting to return to the kids in the dump, a little reminder that Christ has not forgotten them. That is what being the hands and feet of Jesus is about. Check out the link in my bio to help! #lovegodlovepeople#dump#children#help#mexico#hope
