So I feel like this whole #outdoordog business has gotten a very bad rep and I just want to clarify a few things. I was so hesitant at first to leave these #dogs outside in the #winter as I have always had indoor dogs. But when I saw just how much they loved it and the stress being inside would sometimes cause I opened my mind and allowed myself to see the background of these dogs and their history. They are built for cold and #snow!
So why am I posting a picture of Gus inside while I talk about how some dogs prefer being outside... Well that's simple. Just because our dogs are outside does not mean we don't #love them dearly and look out for their well-being just the same. When I went out to feed the #team today, Gus was a little pupsicle! He was shivering and not playing with the rest of the #pack. So I immediately brought him in for a little warm up and to dry out his fur.
Atlas loves when we bring the pups in and he loves spoiling them with lots of #cookies! Gus will stay in with us until he is fully dried up and ready to go back out. But for the time being we are going to enjoy some #snuggle and #bonding time. #sleddog#dogteam#dogsledding#weloveourdogs#husky#siberianhusky #huskiesofinstagram#huskiesandbabies #atlasadventuresnl#pictureoftheday#crueltyfree
