We have been travelling for nearly 10 months now. That means 10 months of all day, erryday togetherness. It’s strange, and it’s different. Working full time and having other lives apart from each other is something that’s normal to us. But this togetherness? Well it’s pretty special. And I plan on soaking up every minute
Bonding over s’mores. No matter how old they get, they never say no to roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. I have loved watching their relationships with each other change and grow.
We are a blended family...the older 3 are my husbands boys and the baby is mine (no ours, we’d like to retire one day). I love that the older boys have really always treated Payton, the “baby”, like he is their brother...and that Payton looks up to each of them for different reasons. My parents have been married for 47-ish years, and when hubs and I got married, I really had no concept of what a blended family looked like.
We have had our fair share of lumps and bumps, but I love our family and where we are in this season of our lives.
