Practice listening and pronouncing with me ⠀
The correct way to say it and to write would be "Je n'y vais plus". But because in spoken language we speak so fast, most of the time we don't even pronounce the negative "ne".
The sentence "Je n'y vais plus"
Became " J'n'y vais plus"
Became "J'y vais plus "
We understand the negative meaning of the sentence even without the " ne " because the word "plus" (pronounced with the S) means "No more".
In a formal situation it's always better to say it the correct way. But we like to teach you the spoken language so you can speak like the French native speakersAnd also understand a French person when they talk to you this way
