Lip colour of the day: Huda Beauty Liquid Lipstick Mini in shade Trendsetter.
I had an over the top eye shadow look today so I wanted a warm but neutral lip colour.
Formula is very liquidy so it can be tricky to apply. I usually have to clean up around my lips if I try to put it on fast.
This does dry down, but not completely so it feels very comfortable to wear but it can transfer.
I can usually get 4-5 hours of wear before it starts to wear off. I only need to reapply once during the day.
There is no filter and I took the pictures indoor with no flash. For reference my skin tone is NC40-NC42 for Mac. I would describe the colour as a terracotta brown?! I dunno... it's very flattering on my skin tone. I bought mine at Sephora as part of a Huda Lip Countour set but they aren't available any longer. But Sephora carries the full size.
26$ CAD for 5ml (full size not pictured).
Lip of the day! Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss (Mini) in the shade Tango (from the "Summer" set).
Got this in a mini set after seeing @shahleena recommend them in a favourites video. I love the formula. It's very pigmented, opaque and glossy. Not too sticky. But the odd strand of hair does get stuck in it. I wear these on their own, not over anything else.
I can wear it for a few hours until I have to eat something and then it can get messy. But I'll wipe it off and reapply.
They bleed so I recommend a lip liner.
The applicator is "fuzzy sponge" like but flat (not a does foot) so it's actually really easy to apply & control.
I wish Sephora had carried these mini sets as I don't like to buy full sized glosses since I don't wear them as often as lipsticks. It was expensive to buy these from the Anastasia Beverly Hills website after shipping fees, and Canadian customs duties.
28.00USD for 6 Minis in the summer set (still available on anastasiabeverlyhills.com last time I checked).
