There have been sooooooo many times in my personal fitness journey where I gave up - where I went SUPER hard for a month or so - then all of a sudden, my switched turned off. I went back to old habits - skipping workouts and eating poorly - thinking "i'll start again next week" and then the following week "oh I'll start again next week".
I would make up excuse after excuse of why I can't start back up TODAY.
Over the course of the past year, I've found this:
. . MAKE IT HAPPEN. Push past ANY thoughts and so called "reasons" why you are not picking back up where you left off. Say "F YOU!!" to your limiting beliefs. YOU GOT THIS!
. . For EVERY time you just say YES to your workouts, or just say YES to eating healthy, you are ONE STEP CLOSER to making this lifestyle a HABIT rather than something you need to MOTIVATE or TALK YOURSELF INTO everyday. .
. REMEMBER. Remember how you felt last time you were doing so great? When you were getting your workouts in EVERY. DAMN. DAY?!? When you were eating soooo clean?! I bet you felt strong, I bet you felt inspired, I bet you felt SEXY AF! Channel those feelings when you start to feel like excuses are bubbling up. . .
WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS. Post them where you can see them. And don't give up till you're there!! And once you're there, MAKE NEW ONES! Because life is boring when you're staying the same. .
2017 is almost over you guys!!! I know what you're thinking and to answer you I say this -DON'T WAIT UNTIL JANUARY!!! .
Why not start NOW so that you don't gain those 5-10 holiday lbs?! You can STILL enjoy your holiday food and drinks- but get those workouts in and during the weekdays eat healthy, girl!!! You can do it!
