~ The thing about a spiral is, if you follow it inward, it never actually ends. It just keeps tightening, infinitely ~ John Green, Turtles all the way down
Ik moet toegeven: ik ben geen grote fan van JG. Zijn enige boek dat ik meerdere
keren las of zelfs maar überhaupt uitlas was TFIOS. Maar. Ik geef toe TATWD was
geweldig <3.
Hi hello! Next week I am heading to the Sydney book launch of Unearthed by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner, so I’d like to give something back to you guys and offer a signed copy of the Australian paperback edition (the shiny one on the left) to one lucky follower!
To enter, simply:
Like this photo.
Tag a book-loving friend in the comments.
If you’d like, for an extra entry:
Repost this photo either to your feed or to your stories (or both - you’ll get one extra entry for each.) If you repost in stories or on your page, please use the hashtag #othunearthed & tag me in the caption (not the pic) so that I can see it.
That’s it! The competition closes on Monday night, Sydney time (Monday morning most other places) and I’ll contact the winner ASAP so that they can get a personalised copy.
This is open internationally.
This giveaway has nothing to do with Instagram, blah blah blah.
Happy Saturday Any plans for today?
My room is definitely my happy place, it’s where I travel through thousand of worlds and where I fall in love with all of these amazing and unique characters.
Where do you usually read ?
Aku baru sampe halaman 375 dan ada satu yang kusesalkan: kegagalanku menahan diri ngeliat spoiler. Udah sejak hlm. 200-an, aku ngintip hasil akhir di bab belakang. Aku tau pas si S ketemu K, jadinya bakal kayak Tobias di We Can Be Mended (padahal cuma liat petunjuk; trus ngerasa aja kayak gitu TwT). Mau nunggu baca secara berurutan, jadinya lama (I'm trying tho hwhw).
Secara keseluruhan, aku suka Partikel. Mayoritas alurnya cukup relatable. Dan konflik yang bertubi-tubi datang terasa natural. Nggak dibuat-buat.
Padahal pengin ngebayangin kayak apa wujud tokohnya. Mau bikin sendiri kok buta aktor-aktris Indonesia. Wkwkwk. :')

Against all odds I resisted the urge to buy anything in all the Black Friday sales, and by that I mean that I didn't buy more candles. I'm predictable, and slightly obsessed. It's only a tiny amount of self-control that stopped me from buying about eleven more Cassian candles from @faerietalescandles, because I find something about them so relaxing.
Also, after tomorrow night's post, I'm going to be putting a poll up in my story asking opinions on whether I should continue with this new theme or not. I think I'm liking the warmth more than my old theme, but I'd love to hear your thoughts, so if you see it, let me know!
It doesn’t have to be thanksgiving for me to be thankful for books ;)
Two (out of many) books I am thankful for are On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta and American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang
Another 'Puff appreciation post! I recently received this Hufflepuff plaque as a going away present from a friend and I love it so I had to show it off! I figured my bee pillow pet (Yes I am an adult, I swear) was great for showing off house pride as well. Ever since I saw a picture of a bee as a patronus on Pinterest, I have been obsessed with the idea of my potronus as a small little fuzzy bumblebee. Pottermore gave me an otter which is great also but I think I'm set on a bee, partly because it also shows off my house colors!
What is your patronus?
I also have more tags! I'm going to do one longer one in this post. The fantastic @bookishjuliet tagged me in #mybookishfunfacts so here goes!
☆A person/thing that inspired you to read? That would be one of my sisters, Threasa. She used to write stories and then read them to me by the campfire when we went camping!
☆One author you'd ask to write the story of your life? I'm going to steal Juliet's answer and say Maggie Stiefvater. There would be so much sass(accurate for my life) and magic(I wish was accurate for my life).
☆Fave snack/drink while reading? I don't know if I have a particular favorite really, maybe popcorn?
☆One reading habit other non-readers may find weird? I have so many partly finished books it's not funny. I also seem to put books down for months at a time and then pick them back up to finish reading.
☆One book from your country other readers should read? I loved Of Mice and Men so much when I read it for a HS English class. I think it's a quick read that can teach others about U.S. culture and history in an interesting way.
☆How do you organize your shelves? I often have stacks of books everywhere and my shelves are usually just by where the books fit while keeping a series together. I would like to organize by author and somewhat by genre when I get big people shelves.
Those of you tagged have fun if you'd like to answer these and those of you not tagged feel free to do this tag if you'd like!

Hello I've been so very busy with work last week I don't know how to treat all those tiredness in 2 days. ••••• #QOTD: I'd like to know what's the thing that you suck at doing? Cause one thing that I'm really bad at is folding the laundry it requires too much patience and I can't really perfect folding a shirt. I think I'm only good at folding square towels
