Gün olur,alır başımı giderim,
Denizden yeni çıkmış ağların kokusunda,
Şu ada senin,bu ada benim,
Yelkovan kuşlarının peşi sıra.
Çiçekler gürültüyle açar;
Gürültüyle çıkar duman topraktan.
Hele martılar,hele martılar,
Her bir tüyünde ayrı bir telaş!
Gün olur, başıma kadar mavi;
Gün olur, başıma kadar güneş;
Gün olur, deli gibi... #life#tatil#holiday
Literally this is the picture that launched it all for me. I had just gotten my cam, was eager to test her out and carried it with me everywhere always ready to capture a "quriuseye moment" . From childhood games with it's leaves used as a kite, to sucking the sweet seeds under the shade of it's canopy on hot, humid days. It's also a major source of income either from selling the dried seeds or using it to ultimately make chocolate (as practiced by some of the local chocolate manufacturers on island). This picture therefore is a photography throwback for me and even dub challenge winner. Not only because it was taken in 2015 but also because chocolate is created from the sweet cocoa bean/seed...
