Don't you just wanna take a dip and go into zen mode here? Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to the Philippines. If you want to go chasing waterfalls too, maybe my latest blog post will help (especially if you want something budget-friendly) - click link in bio! .
Back in the 80's Cebu only has three famous places to visit, these are: (1) Plaza indepencia and fort san pedro, (2) Cebu Plaza Hotel, and (3) Cebu Taoist Temple. Of these three iconic places, i used to lovs coming to Taoist Temple the most.
Nowadays I dont get to visit this place as often as i wanted to but everytime I do, it brings back a lot of childhood memories and how much fun it got way back when.
A word of caution though, you have to respect the place by not talking and laughing out loud because you might get kicked out. Picture taking with the Saints are also a no-no.
Travel tip: if you go to the side of the temple near the souvenir shop, you can drink a cup of tea for free there so make sure you go to that place.
