Jeddah's food scene keeps getting bigger and bigger with more restaurants to try and rate each time. Yesterday I chose to visit a favorite of mine that I have not been to in a while, to see if it still lives up to the standard. My friends and I ordered a wide variety of dishes: Mongolian beef, Spring Rolls, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Steamed Rice. For desserts we had the Great Wall of Chocolate. When we first looked at the menu, the one thing we immediately noticed is that the restaurant became more expensive than when we last visited. Whats the reason, did they not have enough customers? Or did they want more income? Although we were a little suspicious of the price increase we decided to go ahead and order. As for food all was very nice except our dessert: the grwat wall of chocolate. As can be seen in the image it is just a long slab of cake. When you first bite into it the cake is moist and delicious, but that moistness doesnt last long. The treats at the edge of the cake are delicious, so once we got to the dry part we just went along and ate from the edges.
Presentation of food: 3/5
Taste of food: 4/5
Quality of service: 4/5
Value for money: 2/5 ( due to price hike over past year)
Would I go there again: yes #jeddah#saudiarabia#restaurants#diningout#cheatmeal#likeforlike#followforfollow
