Too little, too much, too hard, too soft, too challenging, too easy, too serious, too playful, too late, too early.... the spectrum of life. I prefer to find the middle way, MY middle way as it's all relative. I find that through practice, teaching, learning. Always a student, finding the edge, backing off, refining. My sissy squat slowly improving but for me no where near what was once possible. Trusting the process, enjoying a new perspective.
Train everything! If your going to train legs, train all of the legs! Tibialis Anterior is the front side of your calves and this not being strong enough could be the reason you have sore knees half the time
Give these a go, either try with a resistance band or you can use a kettlebell hooked over your foot
5 Sets of 15 is a good place to start
Do glute workouts make you feel awkward? Ok here’s a tip... if anyone makes a weird look at you while you’re kicking ass, look them dead in the eyes, but don’t stop your workout, and don’t look away until they do. Trust Me they will feel wayyyy more awkward than you will.

•12 sumo deadlifts (TAP the weight on the ground on each rep)
•12 frog pump hip thrusts (squeeeeeeze) •10 leg raises (each leg)
