Showcasing a few before and after photos at our West Pennant Hills project.
Here we’ve combated the heavily sloped backyard with the use of timber stairs and retaining walls, creating level and more user friendly spaces.
Concept sketch for a property in Gordon Park - this small garden design is clean and minimal. We have setup the paving grout joints so that new paving matches existing, a slot drain is incorporated where a grout joint would normally fall, and the pool position allows for predominantly full or half pavers to be laid in an unbroken pattern from alfresco to pool. For this to work structurally, we need to pour the pool 'path' concrete insitu as part of the pool spray, so as to avoid failure (cracking) where a long paver bridges the normal pool bond beam. Small gardens require high attention to detail in both the design and construction phases....there's nowhere to hide!
