So awesome! Really exceptional!

On January 21st in 1954 the first gas turbine powered car was exhibited in New York City.
The head designer or GM thought it would be a fun idea to put a jet engine in a Firebird. Bold idea.
.
The creation shown here is another bold idea from dasnewten on Flickr. Their own creation called the “Gz-81 Naganata” is a great build with some impressive uses of elements and the creativity of this builder.

“...e mi hai salvato tante volte
da qualche tipo di altra morte
andando dritta sulla verità
e mi regali un altro giorno
in cui sembra tutto fermo
ma tutto si trasforma
tutto si conferma
e lasci in giro il tuo profumo
come a dirmi "io ci sono"
come a dirmi "sarò sempre qua".”

On January 19th, 1937, serial entrepreneur, Howard Hughes set a transcontinental air #record by flying his monoplane from Los Angeles to Newark, New Jersey, in 7 hours, 28 minutes and 25 seconds.
.
And again. We just love these planes. This is the “Gypsy Dancer”. Yet another impressive plane in a series designed and built by Jon Hall - Flickr.

18.022: Tonight, on “Whatever Happened to…?”, we travel to Neverland to unearth the truth behind the disappearance of Miss Tinker Bell. Marbles, a local authority on Tink-Trivia, says Tinker Bell had gotten burned in a Love Triangle with Peter Pan and the Wendy Bird. After Peter took Wendy back to her home, Tink gathered up all the Pixie Dust and flew away. Tiger Lily, a representative of Neverland's Office of Indigenous Affairs, recalls being a child when Tink left. “That night, we all saw a shooting star flying away from Neverland.” Mr. Smee, from Ye Olde Neverland Fishing Shoppe, advised our reporter, “follow the Pixie Dust Trail. That's where you'll find her. Or, you can just pop round to the Darling Home in London Towne — rumor has it Tink was headed there to get even with the Wendy Bird.”
⏩⏩
The Pixie Dust Trail did lead to London, then onward to Glasgow, and finally to Gotham City. In Gotham, we discovered that Tink had hooked up with a local Caped Crusader to protect the City from felons. Nowadays, Miss Bell dons pink tights, a tutu, and a mask when she heads out to fight crime as Tinker Bat — the Pink Vigilante‼️😎
