The three faces of leg day: Focus, Pain, and utter disbelieve that I have more lifts to goπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. All jokes aside I had a great leg day with my boy Blake, hitting some heavy squats, weighted box jumps, lunges, and step ups. Being above 6 feet in height makes it hard to retain size in my legs, but I guess I'll just die tryingπŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

My fitness journey is definitely not all ups. I have my insecure days and sometimes I look in the mirror and see absolutely no progress and get super down on myself. Looking at before and after pictures helps me realize that I am making progress (not saying my before is considered bad and unhealthy)! Progress takes time. In the meantime, surround yourself with positive people who make you feel good about yourself no matter the circumstance and keep at it πŸ’ͺ🏼

Here's one of my favorite supersets, leg extensions with walking lunges. Great for warming up your legs for squats or a good finisher for a great brutal quad pump. I recommend 3-4 sets of 10 reps per exercise with 0β€”30 seconds rest per set. If you want to grow your quads, this is a great way. Happy #Legday, folks!
