“The most expensive part of building is the mistakes.” - The Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett.
A couple of weeks before the end of 2016 I made a list of 17 books I wanted to read in 2017. These are three of the books that were part of said list but I have yet to read. I think is about time to accept I won't be reading them in what's left of 2017, either.
Even though my list wasn't as successful as I would have wished, I'm still going to make one for 2018. This time, however, I hope to have learnt from my mistakes and, for starters, only put down books that I already own. I'm also going to go easy on the big books. They tend to be quite intimidating and end up making for pictures of books you still haven't read despite really wanting to. Just like the two books on the right.
Are you already starting to consider books for next year?
