#TBT to flying through the Boston Marathon 2016
I know, I obsess over trails like most of you do too. But, before I got into almost strict trail running, I used to like roads.
I’m taking this idea from @slkeene to give one of my favorite accomplishments a victory lap. It was a hot day, but I fought through the crowds to get a clear path to go faster. I got into my zone around Natick and was headed for around a 3:30, unfortunately, the wheels came off after Heartbreak Hill and the sun won. I got 3:39 and am still proud of this race.
I was not an athlete growing up and was a husky kid. To me, running helps me be the athlete I didn’t dream I could be.
Many of my friends are working toward their Boston training now and I am excited to cheer them on!
