Note to self. And everyone else as well.
As I look at my last post, I can't help but realize I was battling this very thing simply because I'm not where I want to be. But just because I'm not where I want to be doesn't mean I don't get appreciate what I've accomplished. I get to appreciate and value how far I've come. I also get to use it as fuel for where I'm going. Progress means I'm not where I was a month ago. I'm better, I'm stronger, and I'm determined to keep going.
So next time you look at picture of yourself, or see yourself in the mirror, remember to appreciate where you are now, and if you're not where you want to be, see it as an opportunity. Not an opportunity for shame, but an opportunity for progress, growth, and a direction that points upward. Get excited because your future is full of opportunity.
