Today two years ago, Johan Cruijff, tree time winner of the ‘Ballon d’Or’ an one of the greatest soccer players of all time, died in in his beloved Barcelona.
In 1974, when Catalonia still suffered under the Franco dictatorship, Cruijff named his new born son Jordi, after the Catalan patron saint Jordi, while Catalan first names were still forbidden.
The same year he made FC Barcelona win the Spanish Liga, the first time in fourteen years. In 1992 he coached Barça to its very first win of the Champions League, then still named European Cup.
Because of this (and much more) in Barcelona it is Sempre Johan. Always Johan.
El clima poco a poco va cambiando y en menos de lo que te imaginas ya podrás sacar de tu armario la ropa y prendas de verano para poder volver a hacer esas caminatas de playa y hermosos atardeceres en Barcelona.. Feliz jueves chic@s ..
