The concept of FEAR is a very popular topic among the high-achievers I work with.
What do you call your fear? "Practicality?" "Being realistic?" "Money?" Fear is the number one biggest deterrent, detractor, and factor in holding you back from the life of your dreams.
Fear shows up in questions like these: What if I don't make the money back?
What if it turns out to be a mistake?
What if I fail?
You have your own versions of these fears.
Here are my top tips for dealing with fear:
The first step to beat this fear is to acknowledge it. Admit that FEAR is what's going on, so that you can deal with it head-on. Secondly, be proactive, not reactive. Start in the morning and spend time writing what you choose to replace that fear with: who you choose to be and what you choose to believe. Remember, you happen to your day, not the other way around. Finally, look for ways to recognize what's really going on. What's masquerading as practicality, but really is fear? Determine what that is in YOUR life so that you can start to proactively (not reactively!) dismantle it and the power it holds on your life and your dreams!
Seeking others' input and advice is helpful. But if you are in the habit of asking others what they think before making every important decision about your business, you might be weakening your confidence. Knowing yourself and practicing your values is one of the best antidotes to self-doubt. #mondaymotivation#advice#mindsetiseverything
Write what you love, love what you write. Yes, you run the risk of people not "getting" it, or even liking it. To that, I say "oh well". Hell, some people don't "get" me as a person, does that stop me from being me? Nope, never. I have always written what I enjoyed reading and at the end of the day I am proud of everything that flows through my pen. Good morning! ☉ #Author#Authorlife#beyou#loveyou#loveyourwork#JBVample
