Hello all, Lucifer here. Still busy not existing just like I never have done. These snippets are from a presentation at Sanford University as presented by the Wall Street Journal. In short, people who write a lot better than I do, and have freaking huge research teams to back it up. Just a short history of how I have developped in imagry through the ages (personally I never liked being the fleshless skeleton...damned drafty having no skin) What is the character of #lucifer if not one of change so that it best suits #popularculture as well as the #church ? Starting out as #gods most faithful servant, second only in power to him (despite that uppity michael being older dude would never shut up about that, but I digress) go figure, at some point Lucifer (bringer of light and knowledge depending on your translation btw) gets sick of being second fiddle and starts an uprising. Long story short, loses and gets sent to #hell . Where did hell come from? More on that later.. Gets put in charge of punnishing #sinners for all of eternity.... begs the question, if he punnishes the sinners, doesnt that make the character good? Makes sense that the imagry and depiction has chamged so much, society as a whole has been pretty conflicted in his role. Stick with something constant and #evolving in the right direction. #science#reason#atheism looks to where these beliefs came from and does its #research#goddoesntexist#satandoesntexist never has, never will. Cant return when you never were.
