So Here We Go. #TransformationTuesday The Picture on the left was January2015 #277lbs The Picture on the right was Taken March2017 #195. Exposing this wasn't easy. I didn't realize how unhealthy I was until I look back on pictures like this here. This weight loss journey has been one hell of a ride the past 2 years. I kept in mind going into this, it took me 4 years to put this weight on, so this was going to take a lot of time an patience, which was good for me, as it helped me grow an discover myself, during this time I fell off on my eating habits, I even stopped working out for substantial amount of time, however within the last 3 months, I've put some real hard time, work, sweat, blood, bruises, sprained, sore, muscles to almost no sleep just to get that early workout in, to staying after work to catch another workout, even if it was only 15 mins of cardio. My dedication has left me with amazing results, an I'm almost to my #GoalWeight. The most important part of all this, is I used no supplements, diet or weight loss pills or wraps. This has just a natural process. I didn't want my body to rely on chemicals to lose weight. I made major adjustments to my diet, an studied different exercises that we're going to give me the results I was after, I took my time an just kept pushing through an never stopped believing in myself, knowing I was doing this for me, my future, an not for anyone else's desire. I've had great support from friends an family, an some of the best inspirations came from when I started working at #lululemon I was a size 17. I'm now a comfy 11 an just got into a 9. I Love Every Curve of My Body an that my #FullFigure hasn't left. Moral of my story is #NeverGiveUp#BelieveInYourSelf#GiveItTime#ResultsAintEasy#Fitness#Weightloss#Journey#FitThick#Woman#IDidThat#EatHealthy#DoBetter#Progression#Growth#GoodVibes#PNW#Living
Last night's studio, after hours @lululemonuk's European flagship store in London. Yoga & meditation with @mtownsendw (thank you for the invite ), then drinks, chats & private shopping. ..
Since i re-engaged with the yoga community c9 months ago I've been to a few @lululemon events & watched how Lulu works with yoga teachers, studios and charities (like @ourmala, who I'm an advisor to). At first I was sceptical - after all it's in their brand's interest to work with the community - but over time it's clear that the initiatives are led by people who genuinely want to make a difference & it's a case study for how businesses can enhance their own brand by lifting the community they serve. After all, lots of companies / brands / entrepreneurs *could* get more involved in the world they serve, but so few do... this is something that can make a big difference to anyone self employed or running a business, both in terms of fulfilment and the bottom line. Food for thought.
Thank you @lauraemilyhogg, @jenijustice & the store team for your kindness in looking after us .
