B R E I Z H, m a B r o !
Tempo Run Done!
Time to throwback some waffles and hang with the family. It's hubby's birthday today and when I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday he said, without hesitation, "Brew beer and eat white chocolate raspberry pizookies". Gosh, I love that man!
So at 9am he's already started a batch, I'm on Pinterest searching pizookie recipes, and kidlets are bouncing around the house doing all kinds of randomness. It's a good start to the weekend. #familylife
Starting Saturday the right way ♀️ After no running for 6 days & being ill all week, this run was just what I needed to start to feel like me again. It was freezing but I didn't care because I felt grateful to be out & feeling good again ♀️. Happy Saturday everyone.
It looks casual and easy but getting seven people to ♀️ in sync and then finding a picture where nobody has their eyes closed or hair in their face or tongue hanging sidewaysis a lot of work! Of course sunny Boston made it quite nice to run up & down the harbor
10 miles and ready for @chimarathon! Felt great and believe it’s a factor of the taper working - fewer miles and more rest days. Here are my final week preparations:
1. Create my Fueling, Hydration, and Mantra Plan. Then memorize it!
2. Visualize finishing strong, both legs and mind.
3. Sleep. Try to log at least 7-8 hours every night this week
4. Eat lots (that one is easy )
5. Test running in my exact marathon outfit and gear once more (4 gels and all!). Can’t wait to show you my Marathon tank - it’s a custom @hyperthreads and amazing!
