.
Brought the kids over the park for a bit of an explore.
.
Whilst out we stopped here and I asked them to tell me what they could here. They only really could here a couple of things.

So I got them to sit still for 1 minute near this platform and listen as hard as they could and listen to everything.
.
After one minute I got them to recall everything they thought they heard.
.
From the water rippling against the platform to their clothes crunching as they breathed the list went on and on.
.
It shows that most the times there are things that are all around you everyday that we completely ignore and filter out all because we are to busy to stop.
.
Take a moment once in a while just to stop and listen you will be surprised what you hear.

Sockan Dragonsock är pånyttfödd. 😍 Kul att de blir så olika fast det är samma mönster och samma nystan. .
The frogged Dragonsock is reborn. 😍 Same pattern and same ball of yarn but sooo different because of the mix of colors. Love it.

The 4th and last pillar of #the4pillarplan by @drchatterjee is "Sleep".
Here is my top 5 bits:
1️⃣ "We’re in the middle of a sleep deprivation epidemic. We not only have far too many distractions in our daily lives but we also live in a "sleep is for wimps" culture that associates this natural and critical bodily function with laziness. Scientists from Oxford university claim we’re getting between one and two hours less sleep per night than we did sixty years ago. In the context of an eight-hour sleep circle, that’s a hugely significant drop of up to 25 per cent. Want to know how damaging this is? It’s actually possible to put a number at least one aspect of it. Sleep deprivation is thought to cost the British economy about £40bn a year".
2️⃣"If sleep does not serve an absolutely vital function, then it is the biggest mistake the evolutionary process ever made"
3️⃣"All three of the previous pillars feed directly into this one, and vice versa. When you sleep well, it’s much easier to make better choices the following day. You crave less sugary food and feel more energetic, which in turn, means you’re inclined to be more physically active on the one hand and to engage in relaxation practises such as meditation on the other. Such behaviour is self-reinforcing: when you’re more physically active, eat healthy food and prioritize relaxation, you’ll sleep even better"
4️⃣ "The potential benefits of a good night sleep include: increased energy, improved concentration, greater capacity to learn, improved immune system function, resisted risk of developing chronic disease such as type 2 diabetes, better memory, increased life expectancy."
5️⃣ "The mind all too often takes the path of least resistance and reverts to type. By designing our home environment we’re controlling what can be controlled and maximizing our chances of success. Remember, about 90 per cent of your health is determined by your environment, not your genes."

“A saucer flew right over (us), put down three landing gears, and landed out on the dry lakebed. (The cameramen) went out there with their cameras toward the UFO…. I had chance to hold (the film) up to the window. Good close-up shots. There was no doubt in my mind that it was made someplace other than on this earth.”

“The most spectacular UFO incident in Indonesia occurred when during the height of President Sukarno’s confrontation in Malaysia, UFOs penetrated a well defended area in Java for two weeks at a stretch, and each time were welcomed with perhaps the heaviest anti-aircraft barrage in history.”

Nourishing Body, Mind and Soul (@nourishingmandalas)

I never thought I’ll be starting this instagram account but here I am! My life is ruled by plant based healing foods, sacred geometry, yoga, meditation and nature. The more I learn, the more I get into this green lifestyle and the better I feel. I’m completely sure I’m in the right path, I know this is who I am and what I’m supposed to do but sometimes it can drive me crazy. After 8 years of eating a plant based - glutenfree diet and following a healthy lifestyle, I can tell it isn’t always easy... But I love my body, I’ve been sick long enough and I know how amazing it is to feel healthy, full of energy and loving life. So it doesn’t matter how difficult the path can be, it is worth it!! That’s why I decided to share with all of you how do I nourish my body, heart and soul and what makes my life beautiful and full of good vibes 🌼
