THIS BABE IS AN EYEGASM!! look at the sparkle and shine on this malachite and the perfect little bubbly formations. The chrysocolla is perfectly spontaneous with bright blue/green colors! Cannot get enough of this piece, i got it from @thegraciousowl
The Mangosteen my beautiful girlfriend introduced me to these amazing little fruits a few years ago, and I've since fallen in love with them too
Tropical to SE Asia and originating from the 18th century, these nutrient dense little powerhouse fruits have been nicknamed "The Queen of Fruits" for good reason!
They are anti-inflammatory, full of antioxidants, promote healthy red blood cells, reduce bad cholesterol, contain minerals such as copper, manganese and magnesium, they're anti-allergy as they can inhibit the release of histamine, they aid digestion, are wonderful for clear youthful skin, and also normalise blood sugar levels within the body.
I love their appearance too, enticing me to draw and photograph them; for their deep dark-purple toned hard skin with curious tough leaves around the stem, to their soft fleshy pearl coloured segmented flesh within.
Their flavour is both a little tart but with a beautiful lingering sweetness.
Yum! I've just eaten one while writing this for you You can find them at most good green grocers, @terramadreorganics often have them as well whilst in season. They're not around for long though, so make the most of these beautiful nutritious curious little fruits!
