W13D1 deadlifts 4x1 @ 107.5kg moving easy peasey Just under 2 weeks out from comp and today’s session was miiiinnntttttttt (minus my poor choice of shorts haha) Feeling extra energetic after a weekend off training and focussing today’s meals around being at peak energy for my gym session! ♀️ I’ve been fighting off a cold whilst in the rainy Melbourne weather, but we seem to have taken a turn today back onto the healthy pathway! I refuse to be sick this week This week is all about sleeping, eating, training and rehab to make sure I am in tip top shape before comp! Happy Monslay everyone
We are rather unhappy with Jamie Oliver this morning! He is insane to suggest that cake bake sales in schools are the cause of or are contributing to the childhood obesity epidemic in the UK and then I guess across the USA, Australia and now several countries in Europe too.
Junk packets and cans of sh*t are the reason, lack of P.E and activity is the reason, Riben-ohdearmyteethhavefallenout and Fruit Sh**ts are the reason, McDon'teatthat and Doritohno's are the reason, 'crack in a can' cola is the reason, lack of water is the reason, artificial sweeteners are the reason, hydrogenated crap is the reason, high levels of salt, refined sugar and MSG are the reasons... WE COULD GO ON!!!! Get a f*cking grip people! . . . . .

Just got home from a 2.5km walk around the neighborhood, with hubs! I said WITH HUBS. This is the best thing that has ever happened! I thought an active lifestyle/exercise was a fate only I had to bear and would be forever alone He even said we might make it a regular thing a few times a week
You’ve probably heard that nutrition is the #1 factor in helping you reach your health and fitness goals so it’s important you stick to your nutrition plan as best as possible...
BUT unfortunately we are all only human so IF you do slip up don’t beat yourself up about it. Take it as a lesson and try to fix the problem that caused it in the first place
Do not over-exercise to try to ‘undo’ the damage - exercise should NEVER be a punishment.
Do go back to your regular exercise and eating plan as soon as possible.
Do be kind to yourself.
