EMOTIONAL EATING : Have you ever found yourself eating emotionally? Or eating in a way that feels uncomfortable, unsatisfying or out of control? The next time you find yourself dealing with this do yourself a favour. Remember what you were thinking before you even took a bite. For me, I used to eat nutella by the spoonful late at night and just go to town. Yes, it had something to do with the fact that I was restricting my food intake all day and this was the binge part, but it was usually deeper than that too.
It can be hard to be so in tune with yourself and it is often easier to just numb yourself with food, drugs, alcohol or anything else. But without getting to the root cause of why you feel so out of control in the first place, you will keep experiencing these things over and over again.
The food itself is not the problem, it's not a lack of willpower or control. It requires deep internal reflection sometimes and it's hard. But you’re worth it, trust me .

SHOULDERS/BACK/BIS/TRIS AKA FULL UPPER BODY SLAY
These are some of my fave dumbbell moves for the upper body muscle groups! While it is hands down advantageous to utilize both machines AND free weights in your training as both have benefits, I find lifting free weights more challenging because stabilization and core strength come massively into play more so than with machines. This means you probably won’t be able to lift as heavy as you would performing a similar exercise on a machine, but it also means you’re getting an ab workout while you’re at it.

If you don’t have access to a gym, invest in a range of dumbbells for home and MAKE THESE MOVES YOUR BEST FRIENDS
To make this into a full upper body #pwr style session perform 3-4 sets of 10-12 reps of each, resting 30 seconds between sets.

If you want to lose weight and see your abs, You must consume fewer calories than you burn. To build muscle, You must consume more calories than you’re eating to build muscle. Really, it’s that simple. If you’re not losing weight you’re simply having too much.
If you’re not building muscle then guess what…you need to eat more. It’s really
that simple. Take a look at these common diets. They all have one common
theme….limiting calories in a different manor to trigger fat loss.
The Slow Carb Diet: The slow carb diet eliminates most starchy carbs, sugars, and fruits
to limit the number calories you take in per day.
The Atkins Diet: The Atkins diet severely limits carbohydrate intake to restrict eating options and drive caloric intake down. The Paleo Diet: Cuts out all processed foods,
limiting the choices you can make and voila…dropping the number of calories you eat.
Intermittent Fasting: Intermittent fasting limits the amount of time you can eat in a
day. For example, if you know you can only eat during an eight hour window each day it’s way harder to over-eat, even if you get to enjoy larger meals.
Don’t get bogged down in the complexities and marketing of nutrition and diets.
