So this is new. Typically we are going in the other direction- but Ashley here wants to start taking her platinum balayage back to an all over dark color. But just like going from dark to light, it's a process. You ever see someone who has a mossy, green tint to their brown hair? That's likely because they slapped brown color right on their previous blonde and that's the end result. NOT PRETTY. With Ashley today I first treated her hair with Paul Mitchell's Keratriplex treatment to even the porosity and add strength. I then colored her with a shade about 3 levels darker than the blonde and 3 levels lighter than her natural to blend the 2 colors together perfectly- and I added yellow undertones to neutralize the cool tones that come with going darker. A gorgeous and healthy end result!
