Hi Family & Friends! If you haven't noticed, it's been a minute since Mt. Oakley has really conducted any business. I've tossed with the idea of just creating seasonal bandanas for your puppers or year round.
My light was put out for a while. When Mt. Oak started, I was given the opportunity to bring my items into a store. I was thrilled, however I quickly learned that MY small business was taken advantage of by another small business that was just starting & played a very unfair game.
I truly believe communication goes a long way & now understand that not every business sees it the same. I'm all for supporting other small business, not just my own. I think sticking together is the best thing we can do to support one another.
With that said, I want to tread on with Mt. Oakley Threads. My heart is in the right place and I want to see what else we are capable of!

Firing off a test roll in a new (old) Pentax K1000.
Looks like it works just fine, so I’ll be tossing it in my backpack to shoot a few rolls while I source some coffees in Guatemala an El Salvador later this week. Let’s have some fun.
