Usain Bolt is a great example of how to be Successful without having to be arrogate about it to the other competitors. Most often you see people gloating and trash talking their opponents. I'm glad to see that Usain is a role model that is willingly to set a right example for others to see. #motivation#usainbolt#running#olympics
With the closing ceremony of the Paralympic games last Sunday, both the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games has officially ended. I caught Olympic fever early on and watched a lot of hockey, alpine skiing, halfpipe snowboarding, speed skating (short and long track!), and of course, ice skating.
While I was watching the competitions on TV, I was also reminiscing on my amazing and unforgettable time living in South Korea: the fun weekend trips around the country, the wonderful and kind people, and all the delicious food I have devoured!
One of the temples had a small festival and they taught us to make kimchi! We made it outside in the cold and it was freezing!
Find me! My coteacher and I were the first to arrive at the restaurant for our school dinner meeting (회식). I lovveeddd going to these dinners! Free delicious food and drinks! Just look at all them banchans!
My first birthday in Korea! We went to an Italian restaurant and then Thursday Party afterwards (of course we did).
My last birthday in Korea! We went to an Italian/western restaurant, then to an arcade where we went on the Disco pang pang 디스코 팡팡 ride! We ended the night at Club Grid, and I think that was the last time I have ever been in a club.
With ICEA, a cultural exchange club, we all made makgeoli! It's one of my favourite alcoholic drinks!
Thinking back to the 2010 Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. This is back when Maya and I were both working at Bell and posing with an Olympic torch!
