Oregano Oil Benefits Superior to Prescription Antibiotics?
**Oregano Oil Benefits**
Designed specifically for bacterial infections, antibiotics are medical doctors’ favorite tools against most issues that walk into their offices. But oregano oil benefits are proving to be superior to some antibiotics, without the harmful side effects. The good news is there is an incredible natural alternative to prescription antibiotics and that is oregano oil (also called oil of oregano). Oil of oregano contains two powerful compounds of carvacrol and thymol that have powerful anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Unfortunately, the antibiotics prescribed by most medical doctors today have horrendous side effects including: causing antibiotic resistance, destroying good bacteria (probiotics), reducing vitamin absorption and damaging the digestive lining causing leaky gut.
Over 800 studies reference carvacrol in PubMed, the world’s #1 database for scientific evidence-based literature, which emphasizes that research is quite supportive of its healing capacity. To give you a sense of what I mean, carvacrol has been proven to reverse or reduce:
* Bacterial infections
* Fungal infections
Two years prior, researchers from Pakistan published similar results in the journal Revista Brasileira de Farmacognosia in addition to proving oregano oil’s ability to kill cancer cells of various types! #oregano#oreganooil#healthy#herbal#herbs#holistic#holistichealth#essentialoils#healing#essentialoil#nature#cancer#cancersucks#cures#medical#fyifact ##organic#alternativemedicine#naturalcures#wellness#body#healthychoices #ayurveda#plantbased#plant#healer
Joyce DelloStritto is a mother of four and a grandmother of seven. Her comfortable four-bedroom home in Hazlet, NJ has been the constant growing site for children for over 45 years. If she wasn’t taking care of her own kids or grandchildren, she was babysitting the neighbor’s or a friend’s kids. With consistent mouths to feed, Joyce was always found in the kitchen cooking for everyone – sometimes two different meals just to satisfy everyone. However, there was always one quick meal Joyce could count on to make that she knew everyone would eat: English Muffin Pizzas. Simple, savory and satisfying is everything to describe the tasty little pizzas. My grandma’s famous English Muffin Pizzas always had me craving more, along with everybody else who had the privilege of eating them. Although it is such a simple recipe, it reminds me of my childhood and the endless days I spent at my grandparent’s house growing up. Thomas’ English muffins, Italian homemade marinara sauce, freshly sliced mozzarella cheese, and a mix of fresh basil, oregano and pepper are the key ingredients to this delectable dish. The smell of the delicious homemade Italian marinara sauce and fresh herbs always filled all of the rooms of the house. Now having my own apartment and kitchen to cook in, these tasty pizzas are made fairly often to bring a little piece of my New Jersey childhood to Maryland. Although it’s almost impossible to make them good as my grandmother does, the English Muffin Pizza tradition will always live on from generation to generation. #MCOM356#homemade#italian#englishmuffinpizza#newjersey#mozzarella#basil#oregano#marinara#grandma#grandmother#recipe#food#delicious#simple#family#generation
OMG I am so full!! I made zucchini pasta today with this handy spiral vegetable slicer. It’s from @paderno_usa
I think I got it for Christmas a couple of years ago and so happy I did!
It’s super easy to use and I LOVE making zucchini noodles, because well, I’m Italian and I would love to eat pasta every day if I could.
You do need larger zucchini for it to work well.
I sautéed it with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, butter, and one drop each of @younglivingeo Basil Vitality and Oregano Vitality essential oils.
Only one drop each though because a little really does go a long way.
I topped it with Cod fillets that I baked in my toaster oven (got that trick from my hubby). I mean who wants to put the oven on when it’s almost 90 out?!
I seasoned the fish with salt, pepper, garlic, butter and Parmesan cheese.
So. Freakin. Good. #beblissful#zucchininoodles#yummy
