This sofa might have seen better days, but I love the memories it holds and the way it feels, especially when it's covered in Aerende cushions.
That big chevron one is the last one of our cushions from @finecellwork, which teaches prisoners embroidery skills to foster hope, discipline and self-esteem. Each one takes around 100 hours to make and honestly will be the comfiest & most luxurious cushion you’ve ever squidged onto. Shown off perfectly here with, on the right, the Emily cushion (great name) from @ondineash; on the left, an @etsyuk find by my sister and, on the far left, one of the linen and #organiccotton cushions produced at our refugee sewing sessions. Covering up marks of spilled wine and chocolate, is our #handwoven chevron blanket by @warpweftweave. It’s so lovely when you know the people behind the objects that help elevate the daily lounge. Here’s to more sofa time this autumn. #lifeimprovinghomewares
