I was sitting on my mat today before class and found myself thinking, "I'm so happy to be here." Pole has been an amazing journey so far #pdbutterfly#pdextendedbutterfly#pdflatline#pdallegra#pointyourdamntoes I tried this same combo with my hair down just to see how much of a hazard it would be. Can you believe I've never poled with my hair down? I kinda think I look more fierce with my hair up though.
I can finally hold my butterfly by myself!!! Me and bracket grip don’t usually get along, but I’m finally getting strong enough to start trusting myself a little more. Thanks @nightshadenova9 for spotting me into this!
This week we’ll start to learn to swivel, twist, and turn on static with a fun starter #pdStaticRotation combo. We love this one because it’s a new twist on some familiar moves, so you can break new ground from solid familiar ground. All 4 base moves count as part of the project and there are 3 progressions of the combo. Make sure you nail each base move individually first! Then start with the first combo progression and move your way through the combo progressions. You can enter as many times as you like as you progress (with base moves and/or combos). And HEADS UP, work hard on nailing these base moves and progressions THIS WEEK because NEXT WEEK we have the next level of fun and FANCY PROGRESSIONS on this!!

@kirsty_wone is back, and we had a great #gymboxpoletricks class! The new moves we’ve tried didn’t go so well for me today, so it was all about my little combo. Really enjoy getting more steady! No idea why, but I can’t seem to straighten my legs properly - especially in the extended butterfly... but hey, it’s work in progress. Either way, it’s so much fun!
