What's on my mind today?
Well lots of things but we won't get into everything...
But I had a thought sitting here eating lunch
You hear "new month" "new day" "new week" and it's usually always paired with "new goal"
But why does everything have to be referred to as a "new day"- you get where I'm going with that?
Hard to explain.....
But hear me out....
It's doesn't have to be a brand new day or a new week or even a new month to have a new goal.
Goals change no matter what day of the week it is, day of the month or what time of day it is.
A lot of people say "new week new goals"- is it because they screw up royally over the weekend and it's time to restart on Monday? Possibly.... and I'm guilty of doing that exact same thing... it's a shit show on the weekend and then boom Monday hits and restart time.... every damn Monday! It's been awhile since this has happened but I'm guilty of it too.
Ok so stop rambling and get to your point right?!
Things change... people change
No matter the time of day
It could happen in two seconds...
A new goal in mind can happen at the drop of a dime. Don't always focus on goal setting on certain days, you should be going after it despite the typical "I'll start Monday" mentality.
If you want it....
No matter what time of day it is.
Start this second!!
Don't wait because if you wait chances are it will keep being pushed off till the next Monday, or the next 1st of the month!
Goal set no matter when or where you are!!
Don't stop till you reach that goal!!
And most importantly never give up on yourself just because you didn't hit your goal the second you start it!
Give it time
And effort! #neversettle
