On the blog today: I had such a blast shooting these photos with @hminskyphoto over the weekend! We explored some trails in my old hometown, and she took some killer shots. Click the link in my bio for more of this gem of a jacket and an appearance by Hanna's dog. I know that's what you're really looking for.
My customer gave me her favourite old threadbare tank and I copied it! I'm exceedingly pleased Pattern -LMU by P4P (spread 5 inches at neckline on fold - picture in comments)
Fabric - supplied by customer...some kind of drapey rayon knit
Notes - added 3mm elastic in the neckband to help hold it up, because the pleats are heavy and the fabric is quite thin so I thought it would droop without some support -sewed arm bands in same direction that the neckline was sewn, to reduce bunching on the shoulders. This was my first tank top but I have seen this technique suggested in sewing groups. This meant I sewed one with the band on top and one with the band on the bottom. -pleats are 1" folded in thirds towards the middle so that they are mirrored from centre #madeitmyselfie#homesewist#homemade#pleats#patternsforpirates#hackstress#hack#sewinghack#slashandspread#nonotlikethat
