The talk of the town - Patyka Huile Absolue Skin Booster Serum,
I was sent this lovely product from @patykaid and after incorporating it to my #pmskincareroutine for the past 3 weeks. Here is my 2 cents ;
Patyka describes this serum as following : “This completely natural skin booster serum is a fabulous, essential multi-purpose product and a powerful concentrate containing twelve essential and plant oils with regenerating and antioxidant properties.” ,
The 3 active ingredients are Vegetable squalane which protects skin from dehydration + Rosehip which is rich in essential fatty acids (Omega 3 and Omega 6) and retinol (from Vitamin A), that is believed to be anti ageing material + St John's wort which is known to give a bright and fresh looking complexion.
The first thing I noticed was the scent. Oh my it smells so good. The texture is not oily or sticky. My skin likes it and absorbs it very well. I usually apply it as the last step on my #pmskincareroutine as the substitute for moisturizer. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated throughout the night and I wake up the next day with suppled and plumped skin.
What I also really like about it is that eventhough it’s a face oil, I don’t find any oily residue on my face the morning after which is sometimes the case with other face oil. For me, it means a good thing. It means my skin is absorbing all the good things during my night sleep.
After 3 weeks of using it constantly every night, I notice that my skin is looking better. The texture of my skin is improved and less “bumpy”. My complexion is brighter and fresh looking. My skin feels softer and more plumped and far from looking dull which is sometimes the case since I wear make up on daily basis.
Patyka Huile Absolue retails for 880.000/50ml which is not cheap per se. But it’s worth the price tag considering the good ingredients packed inside. The 50ml bottle is also a generous size for face oil / serum. The bottle includes a pump spender and it’s a big plus for me because it’s more hygiene and it’s easier to dose and dispense the oil.
Overall,Patyka Huile Absolue is a very much welcomed addition to my skincare routine

I’m really loving this vitamin C serum from by Wishtrend, seeing clear improvements on my hyperpigmentation which is exactly what I was hoping for! And so far (after just two nights of use) I’m diggin’ the Lotion P50 too, feels like it clears the skin much better than the different acids I’ve used before
Goodnight folks, sleep tight!
My review on the Green Tea Mask by TheFaceshop.
Claims : It claims to soothe an irritated skin while refreshing and revitalising it.
Fragrance : The sheet mask had a mild soothing fragrance of green tea which didn't bother & didn't last long too.
Adherence/Fit : The mask was sadly not drenched in enough essence. The adherence of the mask was bad, it kept slipping & the fit wasn't good too (was big for my face).
🛇I wanted to keep this mask on for minimum 10 mins (as instructed on the cover). Sadly, it started drying after 5 mins & I couldn't keep it for long.
The essence was thin & got easily absorbed while patting.
🛇Post removing the mask, I didn't see any major change on my skin & the hydration wasn't adequate too.
