Sundays usually mean waking up early and getting chores done around my apartment and then grocery shopping and meal prepping but this morning when I woke up, knowing that tomorrow is a day off, I slowed down. I just spent 35 minutes reading a book to help better myself and also do something that I rarely get to do. I get so caught up with the day to day events of work and social obligations that I lack giving myself some "me" time. It was SO nice not rushing around this morning and honestly, I feel more energized and just plain happy so I'm excited to get everything mentioned above done, plus some!
I know that life happens and we all have busy schedules, but we also deserve to slow down sometimes and focus on ourselves. So I challenge you to find 5, 10, 15 minutes to focus on YOU with no distractions today. Like this post if you're up for the challenge and I hope you have a beautiful day!
