LADIES do not be afraid of picking up some weights! being ' shy' or worrying about what other people might think cause you're starting off with just the bar will not get you nowhere . Just set your shit up put your earphones on , play your best twerking song ( I was actually listening to meek mill) & fuck shit up. Oh & yes I have cellulite that's okay ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’š my back was feeling okay during the deadlifts still not sure what causes me to have pain but for now I'm surviving ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ #getmoving #loveyourselffirst #positivevibes #selflove #celluliteisnormal #deadlifts @girlswholift @gym_videos @gymglutes @gym.workouts #girlswholift

One of my biggest down falls in life: Not properly protecting myself. Im not talking about physically, but about everything that makes me "Courtney" - my well being and my heart.

I'm starting to finally learn (23 years later) that it's okay to want your own happiness. It's okay to care for yourself. It's okay to believe in yourself. We are not obligated to sit around and take every bit of disrespect or bullshit someone throws at us. We're not doormats. We are human and we have every right to say "that was not right of you" or "I am doing this for me" and stand up for ourselves. We have every single right to set boundaries and accept nothing less than respectful interactions. I understand many times it's uncomfortable to set these boundaries because it seems as though the rest of the world doesn't realize we have this right. So trust me when I say, people will act offended when you make your happiness a priority for once.... but it's your right- I'm learning if you don't exercise it, you'll never be consistently happy.
