The truth is is, we never fully appreciate things until they're gone. The key to happiness is giving gratitude to things surrounding you. Giving gratitude to your life, and life in general. Especially the now. If you can accept and be grateful for the Now, you can allow awesome things to flow into your life. By giving gratitude to the things surrounding you, things in your life, you attract more and more better things. A simple exercise would be to think of five things you're grateful for, and read it every morning. Before you do anything. Don't check your emails, no nothing before you do this.
Doing this every morning will put you in a positive state for the whole day.
