Day 2: "Lessons in Professionalism" for this easily likeable group at Sheetla Devi Pvt ITI in Kusmhi, a village in the outskirts of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. November 2017.
After concluding our workshop with this batch, we both felt fulfilled like never before, most likely due to the fact that these young men displayed attitudes and principles in their group activities, which is rare to see in urban-dwellers. Almost all of them demonstrated an inclination to go out of their way to help a stranger in trouble. Such sensitivity, and lack of cynicism was humbling to find. They may be self-confessedly naive, but they are constantly looking for ways to make a difference, and help the community and the country.
We came back having learnt a thing or two ourselves.

| "Yeh Kya Hua, Kaise Hua.."
A beautiful song from classic film Amar Prem, which had a treasure of mesmerising classical and semi-classical melodies sung by Lata & Kishore. Each and every song from Amar Prem stands out, whether it be the outstanding classical composition 'Raina Beeti Jaaye', the thought-provoking solo 'Chingari Koi Bhadke' or the motivational 'Kuch toh log kahenge' or this one.
The soundtrack became highly successful, & is one of the best works by versatile music director RD Burman. I just simply love the tune of the song!
Film - Amar Prem | 1972
Cast - Rajesh Khanna | Sharmila Tagore
Singer - Kishore Kumar | Music - RD Burman
