If you too have felt a little wired or tired this December, please know that the gadget you're holding in your hand right now is just that... a gadget. .
There are important people to lock eyes with, meals to be shared + so many FUN ACTIVITIES to be had as we lead into Christmas
Let's give ourselves a detox + cleanse ourselves from the digital world for a lil' while. Whether its just 24 hours or a whole 3 weeks, give yourself some time, space and energy to reconnect with that precious, beating heart of yours.
From experience, it's given me way more answers than any Google search has! ♂️

Although I'm not neglecting my job, I'm taking some much needed time to just rest. I'm a very driven and focused individual, but I find that when I don't take time to recharge that my work suffers. So, take some time off and use some of these tips to get the most out of your time off. We all need some "me time". 1. GET AWAY - Often it can be hard to relax when you’re in the same place. Getting out and away from your daily life and places can make it much easier. That can mean going to a nearby park or coffee shop for a break.
2. UNPLUG EVERYTHING - Turn off your phone, set the emails aside, and enjoy some tech-free time.
3. TAKE A BATH - I'll never understand people that don't take baths. It is the most relaxing thing ever. I'll even bring my laptop with me and watch Netflix while I soak all my worries away.
4. BINGE WATCH A NEW SHOW - Done in moderation, "Netflixing" is a great way to unwind and turn your brain off. Opt for a show with a simple, humorous plot that doesn't require much participation.
5. TAKE A NAP - This may sound obvious, but some people just don't get enough sleep. Naps are no longer just for 1st graders. Sleep is such a simple and wonderful thing. - Dillan Moore

The flood of good endorphins and oxygen relaxes you back into a state of well being, clearer thinking, lower blood pressure, relaxed muscles and overall serenity.

Yoga Flow this morning. My body is desperate for stretching. Wondering if a cold is coming on as I’m just a bit tight and achy. But this 35 Minute flow hit the spot.
