Did you know today has been set aside as the International Day of Peace? Today is the day to gather with others and demonstrate solidarity for peace and justice throughout the world... including right here in the Riverbend and in the St. Louis area! Love each other!
Spent at least half an hour stalking the account of @sarashakeel
Found this beauty which really embodies how I feel about Reiki. As a metaphysical healer, it's hard to describe exactly what you are doing because it is accessing beyond our physical perceptions. Add to that a healer is not the source, but the channel of existing love and health.
For me, I learned traditional Reiki but over the last twelve years I have come to realize you are guided to where the person needs the most healing. It is very intuitive which for anyone starting out, is simply practicing getting out of your head and into the energy of the moment. #reiki#healthylifestyle#chakras#love#universe#energy#holistic#zen#meditation#lightworker#thecosmichouse
I've adopted the idea of "reaching out and touching someone", within my #yoga classes. Giving a comforting touch while students journey through their own #healing reassures one that you are not alone here. This is an exchange so I too know I am not alone on this path. Putting my #reiki knowledge to use and offering more of what I have.
♂️Meditation has been linked to neural plasticity in it's scientifically proven benefits of reducing stress, promoting relaxation, and literally changing one's perception of the world around them.
Sound Guided Meditation, combined with a clearly defined goal or desire sets your subconscious mind on course to find the best and fastest way to get you whatever it is you desire.
But what's more important, and much more interesting, is how regularly experiencing #binauralbeat brainwave #entrainment#meditations and regularly visiting these different states of consciousness can positively affect one's cognitive functions, emotional control, mental activity, and perceptual faculties.
It's truly a fun and unique experience that is recommended for everyone. Even if you've never meditated before, or do regularly, come enjoy a new relaxing experience! Blankets and bolsters will be provided, be sure and wear comfy clothes.
Private sessions available, link in the bio. This event will be hosted at @DangGoodYoga on 9/30 at 6:30pm.
$25 advance/$30 day of event.

This has definitely been my experience- both ways actually. Quite honestly, it can be really great or really frustrating. Either way, trust that everything that happens, happens for your greatest good always. Happy Thursday!
Yesterday Drew, Max, and I went on a beautiful 4.5 mile hike to lost lake in Eldora. This was the first sign of autumn for me, the Aspen trees were glowing bright yellow and orange, and there was a crispness to the air.
As we were walking along the steep incline, I kept having this overwhelming feeling that Drew and I were supposed to be working together in some way.. contributing together, collaborating, creating this Divine Union of love, passion, and creativity. I suppose that's why we are now married and why we feel this strong pull towards one another.. we are so much more together. .
Anywho, my thoughts wandered to me needing a week long break to recharge my soul and recharge my creative spark, can this happen every few months?! How can I work part time from home and part time with clients? How can we travel the world and still make a living?
Then we had this crazy, and maybe not so crazy idea: to start blogging about our adventures, and love of life and nature. Are we crazy?! I think not.. I see people all the time blogging, Instagraming and posting about their lives and how they fit into this world. They get sponsored, paid to travel, give speeches, teach classes, etc. This is just a seed of an idea, but what do you all think?
Part of me thinks it's a great idea because it's a wonderful way to network, explore, gain confidence, and share our experiences. Part of me thinks.. who are YOU to share your life? It's nothing special, you should be spending time and energy on other things. (Is this fear talking?) .
