This is Little Rose House, I was over the moon when we got the keys! It's not a Cotswold cottage or a stunning Victorian house but it's my aim to make it totally beautiful inside. We have already done some work on it but I wanted to post the journey of how far we have come and the never-ending list of everything else we have left to do

Our temporary living room The shiplap cladding won’t be installed for a few more days and we can’t stand being without a living room anymore so we installed the TV. The boys made sure to tense for the photo #posers
Last night was another night off we had a three course meal at home to celebrate (or commiserate ) being together for eight whole years and one of those years# being engaged!
We didn’t go out for a meal as we both agreed on spending more on a fancy radiator in the living room instead! Plus I’ve found super dreamy accessories for the living room so saving our for that! What have we become?
The un-plastered walls don’t look too bad in this photo! We still haven’t unpacked our table decor or napkins so sorry for the lack of dining table inspiration!
My little method for painting tongue-n-groove walls:
1. Get in the grooves first (pic #1) w/a brush.
2. Roll right over with the appropriate paint roller or paint "cover" immediately after.
It's a little time-consuming. But, it looks good when done correctly...
